For decades, dog and cat tountains had been complicated plastic contraptions that were pretty much impossible to keep clean . So we started with the basics, from the perspective of the pet as well as the pet parent. Cats and dogs need fountains to keep their thinking water clean and fresh . So what's the simplest way to filter and circulate their water? The answer was a bowl-inside-a-bowl design that looks as simple, fluid and seamless as water itself.And we made it out of stainless steel and ceramic,so it would fit right in with the best of modern furnishings and take seconds to wipe clean or place in the dishwasher. We took the same design approach when we fundamentally rethought dog beds, cat dishes, scratching post, and many other product categories. Our design approach isn't magic. We pay attention to the way people and their pets live today . We study animal behavior and animal needs closely , And we always go back to the most basic questions-what for pets and pet owners need this product to do and what's the simplest, most elegant design solution? It's not imagic, but the results can often seem like it.
